How long do gel nails or Shellac last?
Shellac typically lasts about 2 to 3 weeks on fingernails. Gel nails usually last around 3 to 4 weeks before natural nail growth makes a refill necessary.
How long does an appointment take?
A Shellac manicure takes about 60 to 75 minutes. For a new set of gel extensions, you should plan for about 2 hours, depending on the chosen shape and design. A refill is usually a bit faster.
Is natural nail strengthening the same as an extension?
No. With natural nail strengthening, your own length is maintained; the nail is simply stabilized and visually enhanced. An extension, however, adds artificial length and often changes the shape of the nail.
